I just wanted to take this opportunity to provide another update on my False Allegations Research Project.
I have emailed 84 surveys to both males and females. I have received 27 completed surveys: 24 male and 3 female. These numbers also include completed surveys from mothers whose sons or daughters were falsely accused.
Unfortunately, the initial interest in my project has dropped off. I have received one completed survey during the past three weeks. From the outset I hoped to receive in excess of 200 – 300 responses as I believed this would be a good representation of the current situation. Twenty-seven completed surveys are significantly short of where I hoped to be. As the current situation stands, and as an alienated father of ten-years (I became alienated on Saturday 17 July 2010), I personally don’t see the current status quo changing anytime soon. In fact, I’d go as far as to say my son’s generation will experience exactly what this generation is going through in the Family Courts of Australia.
As many people have done before me, I tried my best. However, currently there just doesn’t appear to be the appetite for change. I think it is time to draw a line under this project. This will be my last update.
Stay safe, and once again, thank you to everyone who took the time to contribute.
